JOSEPH CONNECTS WITH AIMEE CROYSDILL
JOSEPH CONNECTS WITH AIMEE CROYSDILL
to find out how she has been spending her time whilst self-isolating.
How do you keep inspired?
I’ve been keeping inspired by reading some of my old fashion and research books.
I found some that still had the plastic film on them so it’s like a brand-new treat!
What are you procrastinating over?
I’m procrastinating over clearing out my wardrobe.
Who is your most facetimed contact?
My Dad. We have virtual breakfast every morning and he’s been reading a bedtime
story over FaceTime to my daughter every night. I’m thinking it might become the new
normal after we all go back to ‘normal’. It’s really special.
Do you have a daily routine?
My daily routine is luckily based around my toddler’s routine. It’s keeping me sane and
also makes my days whizz by.
What room at home do you find yourself in most?
We have an open living, dining and kitchen room so it’s been our safe haven for all
activities. ‘Daddy’ has set up an office in the mezzanine room above us so we shout up
to him every now and again. It’s so lovely to all be in the same space, I feel really
grateful for this time, keeping the silver linings in focus.
Are you exercising, what keeps you active?
I’ve been doing a combo of Joe Wicks 9am PE lesson with my daughter then Tracy
Andersons arm work out each morning. Twice a week I do a live restorative yoga class
with @jessicagalvinyoga which is ultra relaxing and a mixture of deep stretching and
breathingexercises.
Who are you listening too?
I’m listening Caribou and Lapsley on repeat.
What are the top 3 items of clothing you have been wearing?
I’ve been wearing matching twin set tracksuits with sheepskin sliders but when the sun is
out, I’ve loved throwing on a tiered balloon sleeve dress.
First place you will you go when we are back to ‘normal’?
My family home in the countryside. It’s currently filled with cherry blossom and I’m so
sad we won’t be having an Easter Egg hunt around the garden with my daughter and
nieces this year. It’s my favourite time of year.
Who last made you laugh?
My toddler, she’s finding her voice!
Do you have a hidden talent? Show us…
Well I’m alright on the sewing machine so I decided to help make scrubs for the NHS. I
haven’t followed many patterns before so I’m making this my mission to learn/get better
whilst also trying to help the heros of our world. Here is the link to support if you can:
