Spring Summer '16 Menswear: worn with relaxed nonchalance.
The Spring/Summer 2016 Menswear collection seeks inspiration from the sportswear and indie attitude of the nineties. The JOSEPH man builds his wardrobe with luxury essentials at its core, layered simply, worn with a relaxed nonchalance. Performance fabrics and technical details are prevalent. In a palette of white, camel, grey, navy, beetroot and ginger, the collection is light and luxe. A parka reworked in highly spun cotton poplin, a denim jacket and jeans updated in nylon gabardine, a t-shirt reimagined in soft nappa leather. Never strictly sartorial, the JOSEPH man pairs a tailored trackpant in wool mohair with a classic windbreaker, elevated in viscose silk or double-faced cashmere. Simple sports stripes are engineered into various garments, whilst toggles and drawstring details add contemporary appeal. The look is refined with a sense of ease, dictated by considered silhouettes and light, luxe fabrications.
