WINTER FESTIVE MOODBOARD

A collection that was made thinking of the Festive season and colder months. Inspired by David Bowie, paradigmatic masculine/feminine style and JOSEPH’s timeless archive along with the mirrored works of artists Lucas Samaras and Yayoi Kusama. Glitter sequin tailoring, polka dot silks and shiny lurex emulate reflection of light.

Knitwear is presented in a variety of textures and styles, soft cashmere in all gauges, and the iconic JOSEPH graphic monochrome look of Niki Taylor from the 90’s campaign, is revisited for 2020.


Inspired by photographs of founder Joseph Ettedgui in his signature pin-striped suit, JOSEPH’s Winter 2020 collection takes the tones and texture of menswear as a starting point. Wide-cut masculine trousers, square-shouldered blazers and button-down shirting, play against feminine silk dresses and belted coats, long pleated skirts and bow tie blouses.

With the inclusion of archival Argyle knits relayed into garments via graphic pattern and print, a more modern handwriting is merged with brand classics.
