GET THE JOSEPH WINTER 2020 LOOK: HAIR
For the Winter 2020 Collection presentation, JOSEPH partnered with hair stylist Shiori Takahashi to create a relaxed, polished wave for effortless everyday hair. @Shioritakahashi shares her step by step guide on how to recreate the look at home.
Step 1
Start with clean dry hair and part in the centre or on the side as desired.
Step 2
Section hair from crown to nape of the neck and then through the middle, ear to ear, creating four
equal sections.
Step 3
Starting from the bottom sections, working up to top, begin to create loose waves by using a barrel
tong with inch thick pieces of hair from the section.
Step 4
Starting from the middle, not the root, wrap your hair halfway around the tong, as if bending,
rather than curling. Do not wrap fully, this will give a curl and the aim is to create a soft wave.
Step 5
Move down to the end of the section and wrap in the opposite direction. Again, do not wrap fully,
just bend the hair round the tong to create a loose wave.
Step 6
Leave the ends straight and tuck behind the ears, keeping the look polished and away from the
face.
