In celebration of International Women’s day 2020, JOSEPH continues its support for Smart Works, a UK charity that helps unemployed and vulnerable women before a job interview, by giving them the clothes and coaching to re-enter the workplace with confidence. Referred from organisations such as job centres, work programmes, prisons, care homes, homeless shelters and mental health charities, the women supported, may have been unsuccessful in previous employment: a third of women Smart Works supports have previously been turned down from over 50 jobs.
To aid the charity’s work in harnessing the power of clothes and confidence, JOSEPH will donate a suit for every trouser suit sold, instore or online from Friday 6 March until, Friday 20 March 2020.*
The partnership will support the charity’s work with women at a crucial moment in their life, helping them to understand their value, encouraging self-confidence and giving them tools required to succeed and transform their lives.
