We spoke to sound designer Seb Perrin, to find out how he has been spending his time whilst self-isolating in New York.
How do you stay inspired?
I watch movie series from directors by decade, listen to new music every day of the year
and compose as well as reading books (biographies these days)
What are you procrastinating over?
Administrative things
Do you have a daily routine?
I wake up and have breakfast, stretch, exercise, shower before getting started on the
things that keep me inspired
What room at home do you find yourself in most?
My soundproofed home studio
Do you have a hidden talent?
I try to cook things that I’ve always cooked and new recipes as well
What/Who are you listening to?
Fleetwood Mac, Baxter Bury’s ‘The Night Chancers’, Gianni Marchetti’s ‘Il Diario
Segreto Di Una Minorenne Soundtrack and a lot of new music as well
Tell us the top 3 items of clothing you have been wearing?
My Kapital sweatpants from Japan as well as their shirts and sweaters
Who is your most facetimed contact?
My mother and a couple of my childhood friends
Are you exercising, what keeps you active?
I try to stretch and walk; I exercise but not as much as I should!
