Founded in 2015, the photography fair seeks to bring together and celebrate the new
and existing talent in the city.From specially commissioned works, to screenings
and talks, here's our pick of what not to miss this weekend.








THE SCREENING //
'FINDING VIVIAN MAIER'

Nanny by day, photographer by nature, Vivian Maier was notoriously private. Her penchant for street photography was discovered when 100,000 prints and negatives were found locked away in storage space in North Chicago. For an insight into Maier's strange and secluded join the screening at Photo London for never-before-seen photographs, films and interviews.

THE TALK //
'MILES ALDRIDGE WITH FRANCIS HODGSON'

Miles Aldridge, renowned fashion photographer and artist, will be interviewed by Francis Hodgson, photography critic for the Financial Times and former Head of Photography at Sotheby's. With over 20 years' experience and covers for W, Numeró and Harper's Bazaar, Aldridge's bold use of colour is unique and distinctive, setting the tone for many aspiring photographers who've followed in his footsteps.

'MAPPLETHORPE: LOOK AT THE PICTURES'

Robert Mapplethorpe, shrouded by controversy, a catalyst for conversation and an exceptional artist. Directors Fenton Bailey and Randy Barbato were given unrestricted access to Mapplethorpe's archives for their documentary 'Mapplethorpe: Look at the Pictures'. With candid interviews from the man himself, his family, friends and lovers - the documentary sheds light on the complex life of one of the key photographers in the 20th century.
