AW15 MENS LOOK BOOK

The AUTUMN WINTER 2015 collection sees a relaxed and unfussy JOSEPH man. The silhouette is voluminous, like borrowed heirlooms, or public school uniforms from days gone by. There is a sense of ease to the collection. Itís as if the JOSEPH man hasnít quite finished dressing; running between classes, heís elegantly disheveled but his clothes are handsome, Etonian.

Heís never strictly sartorial, thereís always something casual in the mix. His wing tip collar and ruffles stick out from every look. Double-breasted volumes are oversized with zip sportswear closures. Rugby shirts are reinterpreted in tailoring fabrics and made luxury in glove leather. The signature JOSEPH cardigan knitwear is blown up to jumbo size.

For colour and pattern, the collection was inspired by the artwork of Sean Scully. Patchwork fairisles make reference to Scullyís linear block paintings. Combinations of flannels, nylon twill, jumbo pinstripes, crisp poplins and glove leather come in felt, mineral, ecru, chestnut and textural greys.
